How FirstBackup Works?
Pre-Settings
FirstBackup when installed, it takes the backup of the
folders selected to a pre-defined computer in the network.
This it does on schedule and once a day. Backups are stored
incrementally, and compressed. Previously saved version
of files are stored too.
The Crash
Physical disasters are a big nuance. Hard disk failures
are common, so are physical overwriting of files after
deleting. File corruption is also a major contributor
to data loss. Another problem faced by users is, editing
a worksheet or document and then realising that its contents
are not intelligible anymore, so the need to revert back
to its previously saved state.
Restore Backup
FirstBackup when run has options of restoring the backup
saved on another system from the latest saved data or
selecting a previous date for restoration.
